Directions School, Parent & Student Responsibilities

The School and Home Compact was written in 1997 by a team of parents and teachers to improve the partnership between parents and teachers in an effort to improve student achievement. The Compact outlines the responsibilities of each -- What is the school’s job? What is the family’s job? What is the student’s job?

The School and Home Compact is presented on page 4 of the Handbook. We ask parents to discuss the compact with your child(ren), if you feel they’re old enough to understand it, and use it to guide your relationship with the school, as it is used by us.

Please note that state law and school policy require all professional school staff to report suspected cases of child neglect or abuse to SRS.

The Warren School respects the legal rights of all students, parents and employees. It does not discriminate against any person or group on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, disability or age.
