Our Upper Unit chorus students joined their 4th, 5th, and 6th grade chorus classmates from other schools in our district to perform at the HUUSD Chorus Concert on Tuesday, February 20th at Harwood Auditorium . Following their performance, all Middle and High School chorus students performed.
The first part of the video features our very own Mrs. Adams directing the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in our district. The last part of the video features Stefanie Weigand, Harwood’s Chorus Director, directing ALL chorus students in grades 4 through 12 as they sing, “Be the Change”
It was spectacular! OUR HUUSD Students TOGETHER can BE the CHANGE!!

In gym class Ross set up an obstacle course that represents how the heart works. We had to run through the course and each time we completed the course we got a yellow bracelet. We had to go through the “veins”, the “arteries”, the “ventricles”, and more. We represented the blood traveling through the body. This was a really good way to learn about the heart and get a good work out! We were energized and excited to participate in the obstacle course!
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, we made LOVE MONSTERS with our buddies! Whitney directed the drawing and then the kids just got creative! They are ADORABLE!! xoxoxo
Rowan created a Prezi that explains the work we have done in literacy class with the book, Pedro’s Journal.
