Student Performance Reports
The Warren School had the privilege of being a Pilot school in the 2013-14 School Year to test the new Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium (SBAC). SBAC is a web-based assessment administered to 3rd-6th Grade and is aligned with the new Common Core Standards. It will be replacing the NECAPS in the 2014-15 School Year. This assessment is a way to accurately measure students progress toward college- and career-readiness.
The Common Core State Standards were developed in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and education experts to establish clear goals for learning that will prepare children for college and the workforce. The standards represent an aspirational document, which is our best current description of what we want our students to learn and be able to do in English language arts (ELA) and mathematics.
